We believe the finest matcha begins long before it reaches your cup. It starts in the tea fields of Japan, where generations of growers carefully cultivate tea plants using knowledge passed down over centuries. It continues through thoughtful harvesting, expert processing, and the craftsmanship required to transform exceptional leaves into remarkable tea.

Through long-term sourcing relationships and a commitment to consistency, we carefully select teas that reflect the qualities we value most: balance, refinement, and approachability. The result is a collection of Japanese teas that satisfy experienced enthusiasts while remaining inviting to those discovering matcha and hojicha for the first time.
Our signature matcha, Kyoto Teien, is crafted from first-harvest tencha sourced from Uji and complemented by select leaves from Kagoshima. The carefully selected leaves are traditionally stone-milled in Kyoto, producing a vibrant ceremonial-grade matcha known for its smooth texture, rich umami, natural sweetness, and remarkably low bitterness.
Our Hoko Teien hojicha reflects the same philosophy. Sourced from Shizuoka and roasted to a balanced medium profile, it offers warmth, sweetness, and a smooth roasted character that is both comforting and refined.
